The mission of the Immigrant Health & Advocacy Interest group is to create awareness of the unique challenges that a diverse population of immigrant and migrant families face and learn how as future providers, we can provide culturally and linguistically effective health care.

Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association
The purpose of the Asian Pacific Americans Medical Students Association is to represent the Asian Pacific Americans within the health care community at University of Florida, to serve as a resource for information and a forum for discussion for issues relevant to Asian Pacific Americans in the field of medicine, to foster a sense of community within the student body and between students and faculty, and to promote community service opportunities for medical students.

Through peer-lead academic support, the goal of the Peer Mentoring Academic Program (PMAP) is to ease the transition to medical school. We are a bunch of medical students at the University of Florida College of Medicine committed to helping other medical students with this new thrilling, exciting, and overwhelming academic environment.
